Overview

The dashboard home screen — a daily snapshot of occupancy, arrivals, departures and revenue.

On this page

The Overview page is what loads the moment you sign in. It gives every role — from an admin to a receptionist — a fast read on how the property is doing today, without digging into any other menu.

1. Dashboard

The dashboard is organized around today's numbers first, with trends underneath:

  • Occupancy card — how many rooms are occupied right now versus your total inventory, as a percentage.
  • Arrivals / Departures — a count of guests due to check in and check out today, each linking straight to the relevant booking list.
  • Revenue snapshot — today's collected income, drawn from the same ledger used by Finance Control, so the number always matches what Finance reports show.
  • Account balance notice — a banner that tells you, in plain language, how much cash the business is currently holding versus how much has been recorded as collected. If more has been spent than collected, it switches to a red "overspent" warning instead of a confusing negative number.
  • Recent activity — the latest bookings, check-ins and payments across the hotel, so you can spot anything unusual without opening each module.

What you see here is filtered by your access permissions — a receptionist without Finance access, for example, won't see revenue figures, even though the layout looks the same to everyone.

Every number on this page is read-only; there is nothing to configure. Its job is purely to answer "how is today going?" at a glance — for anything you need to act on, use the linked module (Reception, Finance, Room Service, and so on) from the sidebar.
